Job Duties:
Perform preventative maintenance and necessary servicing on mechanical machinery and equipment
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical failures and breakdowns on a variety of equipment, such as engines, conveyors, and components of hydraulic, pneumatic, and electrical equipment, welders, and material handling equipment
Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and electrical and hydraulic schematics
Disassemble and reassemble machinery, replacing or repairing parts or components
Maintaining the work area in a clean, organized, and safe manner
Complete assigned work orders, daily down time logs, required forms, and shift communication boards
Ability to design and build basic electrical circuits (start/stop, motor control)
Ability to install, program, troubleshoot Variable frequency drives (VFDs/PLCs)
Install new equipment with per electrical/mechanical drawings
Qualifications:
Valid driver's license, reliable transportation
Experience working with conveyors, hydraulics, and/or pneumatic systems preferred
Blueprint experience
Ability to stand, walk, crouch, kneel, bend for extended periods of time
Ability to lift 50lbs without assistance
