Our client, a leading manufacturer in the automotive industry, is seeking a Manufacturing Engineering Manager to join their team. This is a direct hire position.

Job Title: Manufacturing Engineering Manager

Location: Whitehall, MI

Pay Range: $80,000 - $140,000

What’s the Job?

Accountable for the development of the companies manufacturing capabilities and for assuring proper manufacturing processing of components and assemblies to obtain maximum productivity and quality; coordinating Manufacturing Engineering programs and activities to achieve timely resolution to manufacturing problems and new process launches.

What’s Needed?

  • BS in engineering

  • 10+ years of experience in a manufacturing engineering function

  • 3+ years in an engineering leadership role.

  • An extensive knowledge of engineering practices and principles as well as understanding scientific methods of problem solving is desired.

  • This position also requires a working knowledge of QS systems, maintenance systems, purchasing systems, cost analysis, product design methods, interpersonal skills and the ability to integrate all of these skills to a productive cost-effective result.
