Arconic Maintenance Supervisor - Plant 10 in Whitehall, Michigan
This opening is with Arconic – Whitehall Operations, a division of Arconic Engines – a world leader in the investment casting of superalloys, performance coatings, and hot isostatic pressing for high performance parts primarily for jet aircraft and industrial gas turbine markets.
This position is located in our Plant 10, Whitehall Casting Operation. Responsibilities will include developing preventative maintenance program in conjunction with engineering and maintenance staff; participate in plant safety inspections; oversee repairs of breakdowns; oversee preventative maintenance; work with outside contractors; coordinate office moves and rearrangements; direct maintenance of equipment; maintain responsibility for maintenance of building: Planning future maintenance work.
High school diploma or GED from an accredited institution.
3 years supervisory experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Must be able to read blueprints
Experience with TPM, Synchronous Mfg, and Kaizen Concepts.
Must be able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization, have good team building skills, excellent people skills; ability to handle multiple tasks, technically oriented.
Must be energetic and a self-starter, able to promote and implement change, have good PC skills, good telephone skills, strong organizational skills, and ability to promote a continuous improvement atmosphere.
