ManTech Software Developer Intern in United States

Currently, ManTech is seeking a motivated, career and customer-oriented Software Developer to join our

DEFEND E program team. This is a remote telework position, working in the Eastern US time zone.

Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

  • Creating extract, transform, and load (ETL) processes using the technologies listed below.

  • Consume RESTful API connections and ingest flat files to parse JSON and CSV data for software connectors.

  • Develop connector software on Windows Red Hat Fuse using Java (version 8 or above), Blueprint XML, XSLT, Camel and SQL libraries which ingest cybersecurity data from security sensors to a SQL Server Database for display on a Dashboard.

  • Create test plans to validate the ingest software functionality.

  • Create documentation on the use of the ingest software.

  • Interpret and implement functional requirements between the sensors and the dashboard.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Minimum 2 years of programming experience with any of the following languages/technologies:

  • Java (version 8 or above) with an IDE (e.g. Eclipse, IntelliJ, CodeReady)

  • Parsing File formats (e.g., JSON, XML, and CSV)

  • SQL SERVER database design, programming, tuning, writing SQL queries/ TSQL Procedures

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with

  • Red Hat Fuse

  • Apache Camel

  • Blueprint XML

  • XSLT

  • Windows PowerShell

Security Clearance Requirements:

  • Ability to obtain and maintain DHS suitability; not needed to start

  • Candidate is required to be a US Citizen (non-dual citizenship) with the ability to obtain DHS Suitability.

Physical Requirements:

Office work, typically sedentary with some movement around the office.

The projected compensation range for this position is $40,300-$66,800. There are differentiating factors that can impact a final salary/hourly rate, including, but not limited to, Contract Wage Determination, relevant work experience, skills and competencies that align to the specified role, geographic location (For Remote Opportunities), education and certifications as well as Federal Government Contract Labor categories. In addition, ManTech invests in it’s employees beyond just compensation.
