Position Summary Undertakes an internship designed to provide on-the-job training and experience to High School Students, individuals recently completing relevant education or certifications and those recently completing 2- or 4-year degrees. Engages in various work assignments, projects, and activities of varying complexity, structured to enable the intern to gain the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities needed to perform within their chose career. Receives training and mentorship in planning and carrying out activities and assignments. These positions are considered short term and temporary. Education: *Enrollment in high school or equivalent OR enrolled in/graduated from applicable educational program/secondary education. Skills and Abilities: *Proficient communication, critical thinking, and prioritization skills required. *Strong organizational skills. *Excellent customer service skills. *Must be able to read, write, and speak effectively in English to perform functions of the position. *Skills in basic computer operation. The posted pay range represents rates for a grouping of multiple jobs within a salary grade. We carefully consider a wide range of factors including but not limited to market indicators for the specific role, the skills, education, training, credentials and experience of the candidate, and organizational needs. Base pay is just one piece of the total rewards program offered by Children's Minnesota.
