Your role at Baxter As a member of St. Paul's Engineering team, the Manufacturing Engineer supports daily initiatives from manufacturing teams to equipment to integrate new products within production goals (i.e., quality, delivery, cost, productivity, and safety). In this role you will support engineering improvement projects, participate in R&D activities, support key development and continuous engineering projects, drive KPI implementation and follow up. What you'll be doing In this role you will support engineering improvement projects, participate in new product introduction processes, service activities, support key development and continuous engineering projects, drive important metric implementation and follow up Performs routine engineering assignments of related tasks which are typically a focused portion of larger projects Provide engineering support to manufacturing and/or service lines, including floor support, non-conforming product investigations, change order control requests reviews, CAPA, risk assessments, process changes, equipment qualifications and validations. Assist in the design of production equipment and fixtures Every employee is responsible for performing the job safely and for calling to management's attention unsafe conditions, practices, or equipment Time will be divided between desk work in a standard office environment and standing/moving about especially in production, laboratory, and warehouse areas Work with cross-functional project teams to complete Sustaining/Technical Cost Out engineering projects from planning through implementation. Plan, monitor and coordinate project tasks, as well as maintain and update project plans and schedules. Implement design changes into production for current products in our service operations. Work with design owners as needed to mirror documents in the local ERP system. What you'll bring B.S. degree in Engineering or Science (Biomedical Engineer, Chemical Engineer, Mechanical Engineer, Electromechanical) 1+ years in an engineering role in a highly regulated industry Working experience with GMP in a highly regulated industry Effectively operate in a multi-functional team with guidance Ability to provide solutions that reflect understanding business objectives and cost implications Ability to perform root cause analysis and problem solving while working as a collaborative team member We understand compensation is an important factor as you consider the next step in your career. At Baxter, we a e committed to equitable pay for all employees, and we strive to be more transparent with our pay practices. The estimated base salary for this position is $80,000- $110,000 annually. The estimated range is meant to reflect an anticipated salary range for the position. We may pay more or less than of the anticipated range based upon market data and other factors, all of which are subject to change. Individual pay is based on upon location, skills and expertise, experience, and other relevant factors. This position may also be eligible for discretionary bonuses,.
