Arconic SEF Take Off (Fast Door Take Off Tech) in Springdale, Arkansas
This opening is in our Kawneer business location located in Springdale, AR. We are the leading manufacturer of architectural aluminum products and systems for the commercial construction industry. Kawneer is a part of Arconic’ s global Building and Construction Systems (BCS) business unit, which manufactures and markets architectural systems and products in North America, Europe, Asia and the Middle East.
As a part of our Springdale Front End team, this position provides customer service, order entry, and scheduling for our Fast Door Take Off, and requires a strong technical aptitude, detail orientation, and meeting deadlines.
Primary Purpose of the Function
Responsible for the Fast Door take-off process in KaluCAD.
Process through PIMS and interface to JDE to release to production.
Processing and landing customer orders into production facilities.
Position is in direct communication with: customers, sales team, other members of the order execution team, and manufacturing personnel with concentration on non-engineered purchase orders.
Review purchase orders.
Coordinate and advance project status.
Schedule orders to production based on standard lead times.
Meet FTQ targets.
Work with customers on processing, scheduling, order changes, product issues and claims.
Utilize knowledge of SEF products and price book.
Interact and coordinate with internal resources on projects.
Participate in customer feedbacks and claims, problem solving and root cause resolution.
Essential Knowledge & Skills/Education
Must be self-motivated, people oriented, service oriented and possess the ability to work with others.
Computer skills including KaluCAD, PIMS, JD Edwards and Microsoft Office Suite.
Must exhibit attention to detail.
Data entry skills.
Written and verbal communication skills.
Construction or architectural industry background will be a plus.
Proven customer service skills including prompt response and documentation.
Proven skill set for critical business functions.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Demonstrated time management skills and ability to work in an environment with tight deadlines.

HS Diploma or GED equivalent from an accredited institution
2 years of computer and data entry experience
Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.
