Arconic Extrusion Saw Operator B-Shift in Springdale, Arkansas

  • OPENINGS ** : 1 - C Shift (6am-6pm) *

  • JOB DUTIES ** : *

  • Must complete all mobile equipment inspection sheets before starting shift:

o HS5.8 w17A - fixed rail overhead hoist

o HS5.8 w18A - overhead mono-rail

o Fill out appropriate mule operation checklist

o Obtain JDE Press Work Order from the press operator.

o Trim off stretch scrap.

o Cut material to the proper length to satisfy requirements.

o Cut excess for scrap. Inspect material for defects.

o Weigh one stock length per die run writing the weight on the Press Work Order.

o Stack metal on the pallet ensuring method of stacking is not causing damage.

o Perform dimensional inspections on extrusions.

o Record quantity on order ticket.

o Attach copy to pallet.

  • Report production into JDE/KPMS system.

  • The employee is required to follow all Health & Safety requirements listed in the applicable procedure & work instructions *

Basic Qualifications

Qualification Requirements:

  • Minimum Kawneer hiring requirements.

Physical Demands:

  • Must pass physical if required to operate mule or crane & worked as 090100 EXTRUSION ENTRY

  • Must be able to regularly perform moderate to heavy lifting.

Reasoning Ability:

  • Must be able to learn basic computer skills
