responsibilities:

• Completion of all required Operator Qualification Training/Testing

• Inspect work by construction contractors, ensuring adherence to specifications and safety standards

• Read and interpret drawings, maps, plans, specifications, and procedures

• Maintain accurate field records including daily job reports and material usage

• Knowledgeable in OSHA requirements, ensuring job site safety

• Ensure contractor's equipment usage within limits

• strong organizational skills for paperwork and documentation

Required Skills You'll Bring:

• Associate's Degree in technical discipline or equivalent work experience

• Typically 3+ years related experience on field projects

• Formal certification from independent organization based on inspection assignment

• Some knowledge of public works contracts preferred

• Construction safety training including OSHA 10-hour training
