Senior Financial Analyst, Consolidations and Accounting

This position reports to LATAM Assistant Controller Manager and can be based in Sao Paulo, Brazil or in Skillman NJ until 2025, when it will move to Summit, NJ

Role reports to: Latam Assistant Controller Manager

Location: Can be in Sao Paulo, Brazil or in Skillman, NJ ( Kenvue's corporate headquarters is currently located in Skillman NJ, but is scheduled to move to Summit, NJ in or around early 2025.)

What will you do

The Controllership team is committed to developing, implementing, and championing best in class financial reporting practices. This role will support the consolidation of the financial statements, for inclusion in the quarterly SEC filings. This work includes the following:
Support consolidation of financial statements and prepare other reports for use for internal globally consolidated financial reporting process
Liaise with both internal and external auditors to resolve issues related to financial reporting and controls
Support development of enterprise U.S. GAAP-compliant consolidated financial statements as a basis for SEC filings and press communications
Enhance internal control mechanisms and improve the consolidations & reporting processes
Effectively interact with all levels of the organization and across multiple geographic regions
Perform key analysis on consolidated financial results to provide insights on trends
Support significant transformation to enhance our EPM (OneStream) application:

Qualifications

What are we looking for

Required qualifications:

A minimum of bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance

Prior experience of 2-3 years in accounting/finance

Knowledge of consolidation process including monthly/quarterly close

A working knowledge of U.S. generally accepted accounting principles

Strong analytical experience to quickly review and assess trends

Ability to partner with people at all levels of the organization

Ability to lead and collaborate in a matrixed environment

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage well through ambiguity and complexity

Ability to execute and follow-through to completion and ensure key compliance and documentation requirements are met

Preferred requirements/competencies:

CPA, CMA, Chartered Accountant, CGMA or other professional accounting qualification
MBA and/or other business/accounting master's degree
Experience in public accounting and/or a public company environment
OneStream or other financial consolidation system knowledge/experience
