Senior operations consultants work throughout Starbucks to identify opportunities and optimize performance in support of the Starbucks partners, customers and business. They provide operations expertise and consultation on programs, projects, change management and sustainment planning impacting retail operations. An example of cross functional teams that this role may support are Partner & Labor Relations, Total Rewards & PRO Service Delivery, Learning & Development and more.

As a Sr. OCM Store Partner Operations, you will…

Demonstrate strong leadership skills including influencing without authority while dealing with ambiguity

Leverage consultation skills while working with cross functional partners

Demonstrate project management skills leading multiple tracks of work, establish timelines and tactics, understand dependencies, provide recommendations, create and maintain tools and resources and support implementation of the work

Be a champion for our store partners

We’d love to hear from people with:

Starbucks district manager experience (3 years) or 6 years of progressively responsible and equivalent experience; including 3 years of retail operations multi-unit management and 3 years of implementation and/or project management in a retail or restaurant environment

Ability to apply knowledge of multidisciplinary business principles and practices to achieve successful outcomes in cross-functional projects and activities

Strong knowledge of retail store operations, processes and procedures

Ability to establish and maintain effective cross-functional working relationships

Ability to operate and influence across all levels of the organization

Ability to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing

Capability to communicate written content around operationalizing PRO processes

Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)

Strong analytical skills and decision making

Ability to manage large or highly-complex projects

Summary of Experience

  • Starbucks district manager experience (3 years) or 6 years of progressively responsible and equivalent experience including 3 years of retail operations multi-unit management and 3 years of implementation and/or project management in a retail or restaurant environment

*If you are working in CA, CO, IL, LA, ME, MA, NE, ND or RI, you will accrue vacation up to a maximum of 120 hours (190 in CA) for roles below director and 200 hours (316 in CA) for roles at director or above. For roles in other states, you will be granted vacation time starting at 120 hours annually for roles below director and 200 hours annually for roles director and above.

The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. At Starbucks, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at the high end of the range for their role, and compensation decisions are dependent upon the facts and circumstances of each position and candidate.
