Data Quality Analyst Position Summary

Our client is seeking a highly capable Data Quality Analyst to develop procedures to enhance the accuracy and integrity of the organization's data. You will be performing data analysis, statutory reporting, data mapping, heavy data migration as well as preparing data analysis reports. This position is located in Pleasanton, CA and is a hybrid schedule. The position will start in Q1.

Data Quality Analyst Essential Duties

• Performing statistical tests on large datasets to determine data quality and integrity.

• Complete statutory reporting into the Oracle R12 system

• Running data queries to identify coding issues and data exceptions, as well as cleaning data.

• Gathering data from primary or secondary data sources to identify and interpret trends.

• Reporting data analysis findings to management to inform business decisions and prioritize information system needs.

• Documenting processes and maintaining data records through data mapping.

• Adhering to best practices in data analysis and collection.

• Keeping abreast of developments and trends in data quality analysis.

Data Quality Analyst Position Requirements

• Education Required: Bachelor's Degree in Business, Economics, or Management

• Experience Required: Minimum 5 years of Data or Business Analytics within various industries

• Experience with Oracle R12 strongly preferred

• Insurance industry experience preferred

• Other qualifications or skills such as –

• Ability to work with others in a team environment; demonstrates strong interpersonal skills with a collaborative style.

• Demonstrated strong relationship management skills with internal clients (e.g. management, peers, and colleagues); proven ability to develop collaborative approaches.

• Demonstrates ability to identify and recommend process improvements.

• Demonstrates the ability to use sound judgment and discretion regarding confidential information.

• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook)

• Excellent communication skills (oral and written) to present positions to both accounting and non-accounting associates.

• Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and/or as part of a team.

• Strong organizational skills, including attention to detail, problem-solving and follow-through.

Travel Requirements: As needed to meet service-level requirements and for required business meetings

Salary range $65-$95/hr W2. The specific compensation for this role will be determined based on the education, experience, location, and skill set of the individual selected for this position.
