Expected Length of Internship: Summer Semester Internship: May- August 2024 As an internship company, we allow flexibility to enroll in classes while working as an intern, as long as it doesn't interfere with the essential functions of the position. Experience: Previous experience working in a hybrid corporate environment preferred Education: Human Resources, Communications or a Business Major Must currently be enrolled in a Bachelors, Master's or PhD program who is fulfilling a graduation requirement for their degree First Solar encourages all interns to register with their University Required Skills/Competencies: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, including written communication Flexible and adaptable Continuous Improvement Mindset Proficient use of all Microsoft Office suite programs Ability to gather information, analyze, articulate, and visualize to facilitate problem solving Attention to detail; demonstrate consistent follow-through on tasks Highly detail-oriented, analytic, energetic and self-motivated individual Ability to work across teams to assist with project deliverables in a timely manner Ability to prioritize and work on multiple tasks simultaneously Basic Internship Scope (Project): Lead efforts in refining critical skills identified for First Solar roles, ensuring that they are essential for the organization's success and create functional skill matrixes Collaborate with global cross-functional team to design associate development/training programs and performance management activities Support in day-to-day tasks related to Talent Management processes/ programs and Learning Research new and innovative approaches that enhance processes; make recommendations for continuous improvement Collect, analyze and maintain learning and talent development data Additional duties as assigned by the Talent Management and Learning Manager Reporting Relationships: This position will not have direct reports Estimated Salary Range: $13.75 - $18.00/hour Physical Requirements: Office Physical Requirements: All positions in our office require interaction with people and technology while either standing or sitting.
