JPMorgan Chase Financial Analysis - CCB Analytics - Vice President in New York, New York

Consumer & Community Banking Analytics is a dynamic team that directly supports the Consumer & Community Banking ("CCB") CFO. The team provides financial analyses and perspective to senior management, which support decision-making on high-profile, topical issues. In partnership with CCB Finance and Strategy teams across the businesses (i.e., Consumer Banking, Wealth Management, Business Banking, Home Lending, Card Services, and Auto), as well as Investor Relations, on workstreams related to public disclosure associated with CCB's strategy, financial performance and industry trends, including quarterly earnings, Investor Day and industry conferences. The team also serves as a source for competitive intelligence.

As a Vice President in CCB Analytics, you will be an integral member of the team, collaborating with business partners across Consumer & Community Banking Finance and Strategy and supporting a variety of projects/workstreams.

Job responsibilities

  • Oversee quarterly earnings and annual Investor Day including public disclosure, as well as back-up analytics and preparation materials

  • Prepare Q&A materials for senior management meetings with JPMorgan investors/sell-side analysts

  • Prepare Consumer & Community Banking disclosure (i.e., financials, analytics, market share, leadership rankings) for the annual shareholder letter and proxy

  • Perform competitor analysis of peer disclosures during quarterly earnings and at industry conferences

  • Create materials for monthly and quarterly Consumer & Community Banking leadership team meetings, townhalls and offsites

  • Consolidate top weekly business insights for the Operating Committee and leadership team

  • Perform ad-hoc analytics, presentations, and supporting materials for senior management

Required qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting / Finance

  • At least 6 years of relevant experience

  • Ability to work across senior levels of the organization including with the CFO of Consumer & Community Banking

  • Excellent analytical, critical thinking, and problem solving skills

  • Expert knowledge of Microsoft Office (PowerPoint and Excel)

  • Exercise sound judgment, professional maturity, and personal integrity and observe the highest degree of confidentiality

Preferred qualifications, capabilities, and skills

  • Experience in Retail Financial Services (Consumer Banking, Business Banking, Credit Card, Mortgage, Auto Finance) preferred

  • Knowledge of Essbase preferred

  • Must be a self-starter with a strong work ethic, who is able to work in a fast paced, results driven environment

  • Ability to multi-task, work well under pressure, and pick up new concepts quickly; candidate must be comfortable with frequently changing priorities

  • Team-player with strong interpersonal skills, and ability to build strong partnerships with colleagues

  • Organized with keen attention to detail

  • Ability to communicate effectively (both oral and written)

Candidates must be able to physically work in our New York, NY office 3 days a week and remotely from home 2 days per week. The specific schedule will be determined and communicated by direct management.
