Citigroup Director - Head of Fair Employment Practices (Hybrid) in New York, New York

The Director, Head of Fair Employment Practices, is responsible for leading, developing, implementing, and overseeing the EEO/AA compliance strategy across the company in the U.S. This individual will collaborate across leadership and HR functions to imbed equitable practices throughout the employment life cycle, in addition to ensuring compliant Affirmative Action Plans and managing all OFCCP audits. The role requires significant experience leading and operationalizing AAPs, interfacing with OFCCP, and leading substantial projects cross-functionally. The successful candidate will manage team members and report to the Head of DEI Strategy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Maintain strong governance over Citi’s Fair Employment Practices across the U.S.

  • Develop, implement, and/or maintain strong fundamentals for EEO/AA compliance, particularly OFCCP regulations.

  • Provide governance and oversight of AAPs and activities related to maintaining compliance with federal and state regulatory agencies.

  • Manage all OFCCP audits and serving as chief interface with OFCCP

  • Provide AAP insights and consultation to business leaders, HR functions, and other internal partners.

  • Provide EEO/AA training to drive effective implementation of AAPs.

  • Provide EEO/AA expertise and thought leadership on EEO/AA regulations and external trends

  • Lead project management of EEO/AA compliance initiatives.

  • Optimize standard operating procedures for EEO/AA activities to maximize efficiency, effectiveness and risk mitigation.

  • Manage, coach, and develop team members.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s Degree

  • 10+ years of experience leading the development or management of AAPs

  • 10+ years of experience managing team members

  • 5+ years of experience in a corporate environment, preferably in Compliance, Human Resources, or Employment Law

  • Expert knowledge of EEO/AA federal regulations, particularly OFCCP regulations

  • Experience managing OFCCP audits and managing large scale projects

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills

  • Strong presentation skills to facilitate meetings and conduct trainings

  • Demonstrated ability to prioritize multiple tasks and work under tight deadlines with minimum supervision

  • Self-motivated, action-oriented team player with strong collaboration, influencing, and problem solving skills

  • Highly attentive to details with strong sense of accountability

Preferred Qualifications

  • JD preferred

  • Experience with Functional Affirmative Action Plans

  • Financial industry experience

Primary Location Full Time Salary Range:

$170,000.00 - $300,000.00
