LevFin Insights is currently seeking a Copy Editor based out of our New York office.

LevFin Insights provides critical news and commentary to financial services firms about the leveraged loan, high yield bond, special situations and private credit markets.

We'll Count on You To:
  • Prepare copy for publication, with focuses on both grammar/style and logic
  • Provide feedback to help reporters become better writers and crafters of news
  • Assist with news aggregation as needed
  • Be a team player who can edit quickly but collegially

What You Need to Have:
  • At least five years of experience editing news, particularly financial news
  • An ability to learn and troubleshoot CMS technology
  • Critical thinking skills that allow you to see what a story is missing or why something doesn't add up


What Would Make You Stand Out:
  • Demonstrated aptitude for financial and economic topics
  • Experience editing in a large newsroom
  • Knowledge of financial statements, SEC filings and legal documents

FOR NEW YORK ROLES ONLY: Expected base pay rates for the role will be between $70, 000 and $100, 000. Actual salaries will be determined on an individualized basis and may vary based on factors including but not limited to education, training, experience, past performance, and other job-related factors. Base pay is one part of Fitch's total compensation package, which, depending on the position, may also include commission earnings, discretionary bonuses, long-term incentives, and other benefits sponsored by Fitch.
