The Role:

KREWE is seeking an experienced and dynamic Senior Manager to oversee our wholesale field sales operations department. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in wholesale sales management, operations, and team leadership. They will be responsible for managing the execution of selling strategy, optimizing processes, building sales teams, representing the voice of the customer in inventory buying decisions, and driving overall operational excellence within the wholesale division. The Senior Manager will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to achieve business objectives and maintain high standards of customer service.

Based at our New Orleans Headquarters, this role reports to the VP/Sr./Director of Wholesale.

Responsibilities:

  • Manage and grow key account business 

  • Manage sales team as assigned

  • Manage the execution of sales and channel growth strategies

  • Establish and maintain strong relationships with multiple national omni-channel retail accounts for brick and mortar and online business channels 

  • Maximize brand penetration and profitability with each account 

  • Take a proactive approach to making recommendations to further drive in-season business, identifying and reacting to new opportunities by reviewing and analyzing sales data and feedback from the team. 

  • Research and implementation of CRM 

  • Manage (or assist in managing) sales team 

  • Prepare agenda and conduct weekly sales meetings.

  • Review month-end reporting individually with the sales team. 

  • Effectively communicate needs of the sales department and execute those needs with other departments.

  • Review and analyze current sales processes and identify areas that need to be streamlined. 

  • Identify and secure trade show opportunities.

  • Review regional (and eventually global) areas of growth and build sales teams as needed in these areas.

  • Support the onboarding and management of 3rd party rep groups.

  • Manage major sales accounts 

    Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, supply chain management, related field, or equivalent experience

  • 5 - 7 years in wholesale operations management, with a track record of success in optimizing processes and achieving operational objectives.

  • Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team towards common goals.

  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a keen attention to detail.

  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments and influence stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proficiency in using ERP systems, inventory management software, and other relevant tools.

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and adapt to changing priorities.

  • Strategic mindset with the ability to think creatively and develop innovative solutions to business challenges.

  • Knowledge of wholesale industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements.

  • Proven ability to drive results and achieve targets in a competitive marketplace.
