1st Shift 6:00am-4:30pm-$18.00/hr

4 Day Work Week!

Responsibilities:

  • Repair and replace defective equipment parts using hand and power tools

  • Perform routine preventative maintenance to ensure that machines continue to run at expected operational levels

  • Inspect forklifts; perform routine maintenance using checklists

  • Use variety of tools to include hand and power tools to include: hammers, saws, drills, and wrenches, and electrical testing devices

  • Assemble, install and/or repair wiring, electrical components, plumbing, machinery and equipment

  • Diagnose mechanical problems and determine how to correct them

  • Inspect , operate, and test machinery and equipment in order to diagnose machine malfunctions

  • Record maintenance and repair work performed

  • Clean and lubricate moving parts of equipment and/or machinery

  • Operate cutting torches or welding equipment to cut or join metal parts

  • Applicants should have experience working in a warehouse environment and performing preventive and corrective maintenance on conveyors, powered industrial equipment and dock plates

Requirements

  • High school diploma required

  • Previous warehouse experience a plus

  • Must have a minimum of one years’ experience working in maintenance in a warehouse environment

  • Experience using tools wide range of hand and power tools based on safety regulations that have been established

  • Previous experience repairing equipment

  • Must be able to work in a team environment; good communications skills a must

  • Self-starter with the ability to multi-task

  • Ability to work in a fast past environment and change direction of tasks quickly

  • Must work in environment with variations in temperatures and be able to work for an entire shift

  • Ability to squat, push, pull and lift (up to 50 lbs.) with or without reasonable accommodations

  • Perform all tasks in a safe, effective, and efficient manner
