In addition to Level I requirements, the Level II determines the acceptability of parts submitted per applicable specifications, maintains quality control records, maintenance records, production log and move transactions. Directs the area activities and may be requested to train candidates for certification. Must be certified to a Level II NDT Inspector
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
Operates all NDT equipment in accordance with applicable company, government and customer specifications and specific division written procedures.
Disposes of all rejected material/parts per the prescribed procedures.
Sets up and calibrates equipment.
Reads and interprets indications and evaluates them with reference to applicable standards and specifications.
Organizes and reports test results.
Assist in training new employees in this position.
Minimum 5 years of in a manufacturing environment
