Job Description

HII - Mission Technologies is currently seeking a Network Administrator to work in Fort Meade, MD in support of a multi-national developed capability that connects respective existing national Secret networks and services to deliver improved information sharing capabilities between Australia, Canada, New Zealand, the United Kingdom, and the United States.

Essential Job Responsibilities

• Responsible for the operations and maintenance of a multinational Wide Area Network, including but not limited to the following.

      • Troubleshoot network incidents to resolution and document fix actions.

Provide networking expertise to multinational partners to improve network performance across the WAN.

Apply STIGs to all network devices.

Preparing and updating network topology diagrams.

Develop strategies to improve the overall health of the network.

Configure and install network equipment as needed.

Minimum Qualifications

15 years relevant experience with Bachelors in related field; 13 years relevant experience with Masters in related field; 10 years relevant experience with PhD or Juris Doctorate in related field; or High School Diploma or equivalent and 19 years relevant experience.

Current industry certification such CCNA or above

Security + or higher

• Must have an Active Secret Security Clearance

• US Citizen

Preferred Requirements

Extensive experience in Cisco routing and switching.

Experience with Palo Alto firewalls.

Experience with BGP, ACL’s, GRE tunneling.

Experience with SolarWinds.

Experience with Visio.

Experience with Type-1 encryption devices, such as Taclanes.

Experience working in or for the military

Expertise in Multi-national Combatant Command-level military exercises, coalition networking supporting military operations, and/or Mission Partner Environments.

Knowledge of engineering principles, methods, and techniques.

Effective data analysis and problem-solving skills; attention to detail.

Effective communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
