Overview

The digital content intern will work within the Global Marketing Communications department to implement the vision of Berry Global brand through photo and video content. This individual will assist in providing a full-range of video, audio and editing support from concept to post-production. Candidates can expect to gain hands-on experience while also continuing to improve creative media production skills. The vast majority of this position's workload will pertain to capturing video footage that will assist company and product storytelling efforts and additional content projects for social media outlets. With fulfillment of expected duties, the selected candidate will walk away at the end of their time with professional assets for their portfolio and the potential to expand responsibilities and project ownership. The digital content intern will report directly to the Multimedia Specialist, with guidance provided by additional roles within the Global Marketing Department. Applicants must provide a resume and links to work samples. Must be available to work 15 hours a week.

Responsibilities

• Support all aspects of media production, including photography, videography, equipment maintenance and audio editing.

• Provide image retouching, image manipulation, and graphic creative as needed.

• Assist in organizing and maintaining a digital archive

• Help prepare projects for the Multimedia Specialist by finding, organizing and at times producing creative assets.

• Provide a full-range of shooting and editing support from concept to post-production using Adobe software.

• Work with Social Media Marketing Specialist and Email Lead Generation Specialist to develop short animations

• Assist in setting up lighting, cameras, sound for on-screen talent

• Work with the Multimedia Specialist to conceptualize your own projects and co-develop storyboard with marketing function

• Capture b-roll and photos at Berry Global events

• Be open, eager to learn, and take on new responsibilities as opportunities

Qualifications

• Completed or working toward a college degree, preferably in a related field (e.g., Film/Video Production, Broadcasting, Visual Arts).

• Demonstrated knowledge of DSLR and mirrorless cameras

• Experience using video editing software, Adobe Suite knowledge preferred

• Experience with studio lighting is a plus

• Must thrive in fast-pace, team environment

• Enthusiastic and well-organized

• Clear communicator. Excellent written and verbal communication abilities

• Strong troubleshooting and proactive problem-solving skills as project priorities and deadlines may change on the fly
