Cleveland-Cliffs Inc. Lead IT Endpoint Engineer in Cleveland, Ohio

Cleveland-Cliffs is looking for a Lead IT Endpoint Engineer that can work at one of the following offices in Cleveland, OH, West Chester, OH or East Chicago, IN. The Lead IT Endpoint Engineer is a member of the IT End User Experience (EUX) team and plays a pivotal role in the management and configuration of enterprise level systems including Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager , Intune, and other management systems and tools . A hands-on position requiring deep technical expertise , exceptional leadership skills, and a proa ctive approach to addressing challenges , the Lead IT Endpoint Engineer also assure s the ir team remains focused on enabl ing IT site support personnel , automation of repetitive tasks, and moving forward as technology evolves. They are instrumental in determining the direction of the management of end-user hardware /software and the systems and tools used to support our end users and their devices.

Summary of Responsibilities :

  • Lead a highly technical team tasked with the configuration and management of I ntune, Endpoint Configuration Manager, and other Endpoint management tools.

  • Lead in the support of end user devices such as tablets, PCs, smartphones, and printers .

  • Lead the d esign and develop ment of programs, scripts, reports, interfaces, distribution packages, images, provisioning templates, policies, procedures, and system configuration.

  • Develop and maintain relationships with critical Endpoint management vendors.

  • Mentor and coach team members, fostering a collaborative and high-performance culture.

  • Ensure proper p articipat ion in IT projects where endpoint management expertise is required .

  • Drive the adoption and optimization of a va riety of PC solutions, aligning with organizational goals and industry best practices.

  • Establish and manage process es for the development of technical standards .

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate EUX solutions i nto broader IT initiatives.

  • Monitor and manage team success in perform ance of their duties

  • Develop and implement strategies for deploying organization-wide changes/upgrades.

  • Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and solutions , keeping IT support personnel and the end user in mind .

    Minimum Qualifications :

  • Combined minimum 10 years higher education and/or work experience

  • 4 years engineering and/or architecture in endpoint management design

  • 4 years leadership experience including people management

  • Extensive experience managing Intune and Endpoint Configuration Manager including co-management , Autopilot , and mobile device management policies and configurations .

  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.

  • Proven leadership experience with the ability to inspire and motivate technical teams.

  • Considered a leader in Endpoint Management technologies

  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and effectively prioritize tasks to meet deadlines.

    Preferred Qualifications:

  • Digital Employee Experience (DEX) implementation and management experience

  • Experience developing and executing strategies for cloud-based virtual PC solutions

  • PowerShell fluency
