Ervin Cable Regional Billing Manager in Brentwood, Tennessee

Overview and Essential Functions

A successful Regional Billing Manager shall be responsible for coordinating and managing billing funcitions across multiple offices within their region. They shall maintain and monitor billing operations across an array of projects to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and timeliness. They will organize and develop the materials/labor units from new Purchase Orders into a job/contract for our billing system and manage lien waivers and Exhibit B's of sub contractors as well as oversee redline/as built's processes and assist in any training surrounding billing processes for project managers and supervisors. At a minimum, the position requires a good working knowledge of general office functions; proficient in the use of word processing and spreadsheet software with emphasis on Microsoft and/or Google; ability to use a computer and other office related equipment; ability to read, understand, interpret, input, and analyze data.

  • ability to work seated at a table for extended periods

Responsibilities:

  • Manage processes effectively and apply expertise to ensure completion of work assignments

  • Participate in the implementation and maintenance of processes or procedures

  • Communicate with employees, contractors, vendors, and/or customers to assist assigned department/project

  • Read, interpret, input, and analyze data in support of an assigned department/project

Qualifications

  • Bachelor's Degree in a related field or 4 years of related work experience

  • Proficient in the use of office hardware and software (PCs, Tablets, Printers, Copiers, Microsoft, Google, etc.)

  • Advanced proficiency in assigned function (e.g. Accounting, Engineering, IT, Procurement, Project Mgmt, etc.)

  • Authorized to work in the United States

  • Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check

To be considered for this position, a candidate must possess the ability to sit for long periods of time, while using repetitive and/or fine hand movements to complete computer related tasts and/or other office functions. Work is performed infoors and in a typical office environment.
