What you'll do...

Join the Marketplace Legal team as an Associate Counsel to p rovide strategic advice and legal counsel to the Walmart Marketplace business; provide daily advice and counsel to Marketplace business teams on a broad range of subjects related to third party seller relationships; draft, review, and edit contracts, policies, program documents, and communications; and develop and leverage internal and external partnerships to address complex and novel legal issues arising from the third-party seller business.   • Identifying diverse legal issues originating from cutting edge strategic initiatives.

  • Crafting novel legal solutions to drive business growth.

  • Drafting, reviewing, and editing contracts.

  • Collaborating with various Global Governance and business partners to timely deliver cross-functional projects.

  • Partnering with compliance and litigation professionals to mitigate trending risk.

  • Evaluating and assisting with the development of standard operating procedures, policies, guides, training, and communications.

  • Monitoring legislative and regulatory developments.

Live Better U is a Walmart-paid education benefit program for full-time and part-time associates in Walmart and Sam's Club facilities. Programs range from high school completion to bachelor's degrees, including English Language Learning and short-form certificates. Tuition, books, and fees are completely paid for by Walmart.

Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment. Benefits are subject to change and may be subject to a specific plan or program terms.

The annual salary range for this position is $80,000.00-$155,000.00

Additional compensation includes annual or quarterly performance bonuses.
